Two weeks ago Dr. Gallagher from Vets to Pets examined and treated my cat, Saya, after I noticed Saya scratching her ears about a month ago. My cat is very afraid of strangers and is terrified of vets (and Saya won’t let even me pick her up, although she’s very sweet with me). In the past, whenever I had to take Saya to the vet, they always had to sedate her to examine her. But Dr. Gallagher was able to calm Saya by snuggling a blanket against her and covering her eyes with the blanket. Saya then let Dr. Gallagher examine her and thoroughly clean her ears and apply ear cream without Saya needing sedation! I was so relieved and amazed!

Saya is very allergic to chicken, and Dr. Gallagher recommended Hill’s z/d prescription diet hydrolyzed cat food. And now that Saya has been on that food for a few weeks, she’s doing so much better! And now today, two weeks later, Dr. Gallagher came back for a scheduled follow-up to recheck Saya’s ears, and Saya’s ears look perfect now. Dr. Gallagher was again able to examine Saya without needing to sedate her. I’m so grateful to Dr. Gallagher for her patience and kindness to both Saya and myself, and for answering all of my (many) questions. And most of all, for Dr. Gallagher and her vet techs being so amazing with my very anxious cat!
