Rhonda Ryle, DVM

Dr. Ryle grew up in a small beach town on the east coast of Florida. She moved to Virginia to attend college at Virginia Tech and graduated with a bachelors degree in Biology. Then worked for several years at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda working as a research assistant as well as attending Johns Hopkins University masters program in biotechnology with a focus on immunology. She then attended vet school at Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2003. Since graduation she has worked in a mixed animal practice where she worked with a variety of patients. During that time she worked closely with the Fairfax county and Prince William county shelters.

Dr. Ryle enjoys working with all types of critters, she has years of experience in exotic animal medicine (pocket pets, reptiles, birds) as well as dogs and cats. Her other interests include ultrasound, surgery, preventative and urgent care. She works to ensure every patient/pet has the best care possible. She spends her free time crocheting, reading or just hanging out with family consisting of her husband, 2 children, 2 Dobermans, 2 cats, 1 snake, 1 bearded dragon and one overly opinionated grumpy old parrot.
